Thomas Alicandro's Chilled Summer Melon Soup

6 medium ripe strawberries
3 medium ripe pears, cored, peeled and chopped
3 medium slices watermelon, peeled, seeded and cubed
1/2 medium cantaloupe, peeled, seeded and cubed
1/2 medium honeydew melon, peeled, seeded and cubed
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup cranberry juice
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1 teaspoon port wine (optional)
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1 medium lime, cut into thin slices
1 bunch fresh mint sprigs

Preparation / Directions:

Puree all of the fruit, the juices, cinnamon and port (if you choose to use it) in a blender and refrigerate the mixture for at least two hours to chill. Ladle into bowls and garnish with lime slices and mint.
