Butter Polonaise

Ingredients:


2 tablespoons butter or margarine

2 tablespoons soft bread crumbs

1/2 tablespoon minced shallots -- if desired

2 teaspoons minced parsley

1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

1 bunch asparagus -- or

1 bunch brussel sprouts -- or

1 medium spinach -- or

1 medium broccoli -- or

1 medium cauliflower
 

Preparation / Directions:


Melt butter in a small saucepan over a low flame. Stir in bread crumbs and shallots and saute until golden brown and crisp. Stir in parsley and lemon juice. Serve over your choice of listed cooked vegetables.
