Grapefruit-Sesame Baked Halibut

Ingredients:


2 fillets halibut steaks -- 1/2 pound each

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 dash freshly ground black pepper

1/2 cup soft bread crumbs

3 tablespoons melted butter

2 tablespoons sesame seeds

1/4 teaspoon thyme -- crumbled

6 medium fresh grapefruit sections
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Place halibut steaks in buttered shallow baking dish; sprinkle with salt and pepper. 2. Mix bread crumbs with 1 tablespoon melted butter, sesame seeds and thyme; sprinkle over halibut. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon butter. 3. Bake in preheated 450 F. oven 15 minutes per inch of thickness. 4. Top with grapefruit sections and brush with remaining butter; return to oven for 5 minutes, or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
