Grandma Evelyn's Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients:


1 small onion

2 tablespoons butter

1 medium slice onion. fry in butter. then add:

2 tablespoons vinegar

3/4 cup catsup

1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons prepared mustard

1/2 teaspoon celery seed

1 cup meat stock or water with bouillon cubes
 

Preparation / Directions:


Simmer slowly for 15 minutes. Use for basting roasting meat or for dipping in slices of roast meat just before they are served.
