Grilled Turkey Loaf

Ingredients:


1 loaf round loaf sourdough bread (9 inches in diameter) uncut

6 ounces turkey thinly sliced cooked

1/4 cup pesto

1 medium tomato thinly sliced

1 small zucchini thinly sliced

8 slices mozzarella cheese (1 ounce each)
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat coals or gas grill. Cut 1-inch slice from top of bread loaf; set aside. Hollow out inside of loaf, leaving 3/4-inch wall. Layer half each of the turkey, pesto, tomato, zucchini and cheese in bread loaf; repeat. Replace top of loaf. Wrap tightly in aluminum foil. Cover and grill 4 to 6 inches from medium heat 30 to 45 minutes or until heated through. Cool 5 minutes. Cut into wedges.
