French Apple Bread Pudding

Ingredients:


3 large eggs

14 ounces Eagle Brand sweetened milk

3 medium apples, pared, cored -- finely chopped

1 3/4 cups hot water

1/4 cup butter

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla

4 cups french bread cubes

1/2 cup raisins
 

Preparation / Directions:


Preheat oven to 350° In large bowl, beat eggs, add milk, apples, water, butter, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir in bread and raisins, moistening completely. Turn into buttered 9 in. square baking dish. Bake 1 hour or until test shows doness. Cool. Serve warm with ice cream. Refrigerate leftovers.
