Pumpkin Pie (Borden's Eagle Brand)

Ingredients:

1 crust pastry shell -- unbaked 9 inch
15 ounces pumpkin puree -- canned or fresh
14 ounces fat-free sweetened condensed milk not evaporated milk
4 large egg whites
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
 

Preparation / Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. In mixer bowl, combine all ingredients except pastry shell; mix well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F.; bake for 25 to 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1inch from edge comes out clean. Cool. Garnish as desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
