Teekhi Tarkari (Zucchini With Whole Green Peppercorns)

Ingredients:


2 tablespoons olive oil

4 medium zucchini -- trimmed and sliced into rounds

1 medium fresh hot green chili -- seeded and chopped

2 cloves garlic -- sliced

1 tablespoon whole green peppercorns

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 medium lemon -- juice of
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat the oil in a large skillet and add the zucchini slices. Reduce the heat, add the green chili and garlic, and stir. Add the peppercorns, pepper, salt, and lemon juice, and saute on a low flame for 10 minutes. Then cover the pan and cook 2 minutes more. serves 4
