Plum Crisp

Ingredients:


4 cups fresh plums -- (about 1 1/2 pounds), sliced

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup sugar

3 tablespoons fresh lemon or lime juice

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup light brown sugar -- packed

1/2 cup nuts -- chopped

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 pint sweetened whipped cream -- (optional)
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Toss plums with honey, sugar and lemon juice in mixing bowl; spoon mixture into six 1-cup custard cups or other heatproof dishes. 2. Combine remaining ingredients; mix with fingers until crumbly. Sprinkle over plums. 3. Bake in preheated 375 F. oven 30 minutes; serve warm with sweetened whipped cream, if desired.
