Rancho Frijoles Dip

Ingredients:


1/4 cup unsalted butter

1 cup onion

2 tablespoons garlic

1 teaspoon hot chile

16 ounces canned kidney beans

1 cup jack cheese

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat butter in a skillet, over a moderate flame add onions, garlic, and chiles heat and stir for 5-7 minutes, until tender mash beans to a paste, with a fork and add to skillet heat and stir for 2-3 minutes add grated cheese heat and stir to melt cheese season to taste with salt and pepper transfer to a chafing dish or fondue pot serve hot
