Graham Cracker Cookies - Walters

Ingredients:


12 pieces graham crackers -- double variety

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup margarine

1/2 cup granulated white sugar

1 cup crushed almonds

1 teaspoon vanilla
 

Preparation / Directions:


Preheat oven to 325øF. Break double graham crackers into 4 pieces each and place on jelly roll pan (not cookie sheet). Sprinkle almonds evenly over graham crackers. In sauce pan combine butter, margarine and sugar. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour this glaze over graham crackers. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from pan immediately onto waxed paper.
