Country-Style Chicken Kiev

2/3 cup butter -- melted
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon oregano leaves
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup dry white wine or apple juice
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup fine bread crumbs
1 teaspoon basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
2 pieces chicken breasts -- split (1 1/2 lb.)
1/4 cup chopped parsley

Preparation / Directions:

Dip chicken pieces in melted butter; roll In mixture of bread crumbs, cheese, basil, oregano, garlic salt and salt. Place skin side up in ungreased baking dish. Bake at 375F for 50 to 60 min- utes. Add wine, green onion and parsley to remaining butter. Pour over tender chicken; bake 5 minutes longer. Serve with sauce.
