Genelle's Caramel Corn

Ingredients:


6 quarts popcorn -- popped

2 cups brown sugar

2 sticks butter or margarine

1/2 cup dark karo syrup

1 dash cream of tartar
 

Preparation / Directions:


Boil brown sugar, butter, sugar and cream of tartar for 5 minutes. Pour over popped corn; stir and spread on 2 ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 250 for one hour stirring once or twice during baking.
