Garden Vegetables With Cheese

3 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 packages mixed frozen vegetables -- (16 oz.)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon grated onion
1 cup dairy sour cream

Preparation / Directions:

Cook the vegetables according to directions, but do not cook until vegetables are completely done. Drain. Combine the flour and butter and cook over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in salt, pepper, sugar, onion and dairy sour cream. Fold in vegetables. Place in 2 quart casserole. Cover with 1/2 pound grated Cheddar cheese, then with 1/2 cup corn flake crumbs mixed with 1 tablespoon butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
