I tried this recipe years ago and it has been a big hit with everyone ever since! | |||||
Ingredients:

Preparation / Directions:Peel, cube and cook turnip until tender. Mash with potato masher. Add bacon, sour cream and pepper, [to taste]. Serve hot. I do not use salt as the bacon is salty. Reduced salt bacon can also be used without affecting flavour. If cooking for a large crowd, double or triple the recipe. More bacon may also be used, if desired. Enjoy!!!
