Creamed Peas and Potatoes

1 bunch new potatoes
1 package frozen peas
---white sauce---
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk or milk substitute

Preparation / Directions:

Boil potatoes and peas until done. Drain. Pour white sauce over and stir til mixed well. White sauce: Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour, salt, and dash white pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook quickly, stirring constantly, till mixture thickens and bubbles. Remove sauce from heat when it bubbles.
