Wilted Lettuce

Ingredients:


6 cups lettuce torn

2 tablespoons parsley

2 tablespoons onion finely diced

4 slices bacon

1/4 cup white vinegar

1 teaspoon sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 dash pepper
 

Preparation / Directions:


Place lettuce, parsley and onion aside in bowl. Sauté bacon until crisp; remove from skillet. Break bacon into pieces and add to lettuce mixture. Stir vinegar and remaining ingredients into bacon fat. Bring to a boil. Pour over lettuce; toss. Serve immediately.
