Maple Flavored Stuffed Squash

Ingredients:


3 small acorn squash

1 1/2 Cup maple flavored syrup

3 tablespoons butter -- melted

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/3 Cup miniature marshmallows
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cut squash in half lengthwise, and remove seeds. Place cut side down in a shallow baking dish, and pour in boiling water 1/2 inch deep. Bake at 375 F for 35 minutes. Cool squash; carefully scoop out pulp, leaving shells intact. Mash pulp; add syrup, butter, and nutmeg, stirring well. Spoon mixture into shells; top with marshmallows. Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes.
