Raspberry-Zinfandel Sorbet

Ingredients:


2 pounds frozen raspberries -- unsweetened

8 ounces good -- fruity, spicy zinfandel

2 tablespoons lemon juice

4 ounces superfine sugar

1/8 teaspoon cinnamon -- (1/8 to 1/4)

2 ounces heavy cream -- (optional)
 

Preparation / Directions:


Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and pur‚e. Strain out raspberry seeds. Freeze in an ice cream maker, or in a metal container for a granita texture. I'd go for the sorbe
