Miami Shrimp

Ingredients:


1 pound raw shrimp -- peeled and deveined

1/4 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon white pepper

1/8 cup extra dry vermouth

2 tablespoons lemon juice
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Preheat a skillet to medium-high heat.

2. Add the oil, salt and pepper, and the shrimp.

3. Cook about 5 minutes, or until the shrimp are coral colored.

4. Raise the temperature to high and add the vermouth and lemon juice. Cook one minute longer, stirring constantly.

5. Drain the liquid from the pan, then serve the shrimp hot or cold.
