Danny Kaye's Quick Crab Soup

2 cans green pea soup -- (10 3/4 ounce)
2 cans tomato soup -- (10 3/4 ounce)
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons curry powder
1 cup dry sherry
1 pound crab meat -- flaked

Preparation / Directions:

In a large saucepan, mix pea soup, tomato soup, chicken broth, cream, curry powder and sherry. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes. Stir in crab meat and cook until heated through. Prep Time: 7 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes Makes: 6 servings Danny Kaye was a great friend and a wonderful cook, one of the best I have known. Although he usually made everything from scratch, this delicious soup was an exception. None of his guests ever guessed its contents.
