Blackberry Rootbeer Sauce

odd sounding but great tasting! Try it over chicken & more!
 

Ingredients:


1/2 pint blackberries-fresh preferred

1/4 Cup sugar

16 ounces root beer

1 tablespoons cornstarch
 

Preparation / Directions:


wash, mash or puree berries, pour into small saucepan over low-med heat.Add sugar, dissolve w/ small wire wisk. As bubbles begin, add all but 1/4C rootbeer. In small bowl, mix small amount corn starch into rootbeer-slowly while wisking add starch mixture to pot in small slow thin pour-slow heat and bring to desired thickness. Fantastic!
