Parmesan Sauce

Ingredients:


3 tablespoons margarine or butter

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves

1/4 teaspoon pepper

2 1/2 cups milk

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
 

Preparation / Directions:


Melt margarine in 2-quart saucepan over low heat. Stir in flour, tarragon and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth adn bubbly; remove from heat. Gradually stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute; remove from heat. Stir in cheese until melted.
