Grand Marnier French Toast with Orange Sauce

Ingredients:


4 cups heavy cream

4 large eggs

4 tablespoons Grand Marnier

4 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons orange zest

1 loaf French bread

--- ORANGE BUTTER ---

6 ounces butter

1 medium one orange -- Juice of

1 tablespoon Grand Marnier

1/2 cup confectioners sugar

1 medium Zest from one orange
 

Preparation / Directions:


Put 12-16 pieces of French bread in a baking dish. Mix ingredients together and pour over bread. Put in refrigerator overnight. Turn slices after two hours. Next day, pre-heat oven to 375ΓΈ. Butter cookie sheet and transfer bread. Bake 30-40 minutes, turning halfway through. Return to casserole or serving plate and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar. Serve with maple syrup and orange butter. Orange Butter: Soften butter. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Form a ball and refrigerat
