DILL SAUCE

Ingredients:


2 tablespoons Margarine or butter

2 tablespoons All-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon Salt

1/8 teaspoon Pepper

1 cup Milk

1 teaspoon Chopped fresh or

1/2 teaspoon Dried dill weed

1 dash Ground nutmeg
 

Preparation / Directions:


Nice served with fish. Heat margarine in 1-1/2-quart saucepan over medium heat until melted. Stir in flour, dill weed, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. To Microwave: Place margarine in 4-cup microwavable measure. Microwave uncovered on high 15 to 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in flour, dill weed, nutmeg, salt, pepper and milk. Microwave uncovered on high 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every minute with wire whisk or fork, until thickened.
