Salsa De Chile Guero

Ingredients:


4 medium chiles gueros

1 medium tomato -- peeled and seeded

6 sprigs cilantro -- chopped

1 small onion -- chopped

1 clove garlic -- crushed

1 medium canned serrano -- chopped

3 tablespoons oil

1 teaspoon salt -- pepper to taste

1 dash sugar
 

Preparation / Directions:


Simmer gueros in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain, stem and seed. Puree with remaining ingredients. Cook in skillet, stirring constantly, 2-3 minutes. Makes 1 1/2 cups
