Easy All-Purpose Summer Salad

Ingredients:


1 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons vinegar

1 tablespoons prepared mustard

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

8 ounces cooked macaroni

1 cup sliced celery

1 cup chopped green pepper

1/4 cup chopped onion
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine first six ingredients in a large bowl; stir until smooth. Add remaining ingredients, folding them in to cover with dressing. Cover bowl and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. The reason it's called an all-purpose salad is that the basic recipe can be easily tweaked. For example: and· Add tuna, chicken or ham and turn it into a main course entre. and· Substitute bite-size chunks of boiled potatoes for the macaroni and you'll have a great potato salad. and· Skip the macaroni and add 6 chopped hard-cooked eggs for a super egg salad.
