Mexican Turkey Salad

Ingredients:


3 cups cooked and diced turkey

15 ounces tomato sauce with mushrooms

1 package dry taco seasoning mix -- (1 1/8 oz.)

1/2 pint cherry tomatoes sliced

1 bunch leaf lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces

2 cans ripe olives -- (7 3/4 oz.) drained

2 medium purple onions -- sliced in rings

2 medium avocados ripe, sliced or diced

9 ounces jalapeno cheddar cheese dip

1 package tortilla chips
 

Preparation / Directions:


In a straight-sided glass salad bowl, layer all ingredients except dip and tortilla chips. Warm dip in the top of a double boiler or place dip in a microwave-safe dish and warm in the microwave oven. Pour dip over salad. Serve with Tortilla Chips.
