Caribbean Rice and Black Bean Salad

Ingredients:


1 packages Watkins Rice and Black Bean Blend -- (8 oz.)

2 teaspoon Watkins Vegetarian Vegetable Soup Base

1 cup small cooked -- cleaned and deveined shrimp

1/2 Cup sliced green onion

1/2 Cup chopped red or green bell pepper

1/3 Cup Watkins Tropical Salsa

1 teaspoon Watkins Lime Extract

1 teaspoon Watkins Island Spice Salad Seasoning or Caribbean Spice Blend
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cook rice and black beans according to package directions, adding vegetable soup base to cooking water. Drain and rinse with cold water; drain again. In large serving bowl, combine rice and remaining ingredients; toss lightly. Refrigerate until serving time. Makes 6 servings
