Ingredients:

  1               Pkg.  Watkins Rice & Black Bean Blend -- (8 oz.)
  2               Tsp.  Watkins Vegetarian Vegetable Soup Base
  1                Cup  small cooked -- cleaned and
                        deveined shrimp
     1/2           Cup  sliced green onion
     1/2           Cup  chopped red or green bell pepper
     1/3           Cup  Watkins Tropical Salsa
  1               Tsp.  Watkins Lime Extract
  1               Tsp.  Watkins Island Spice Salad Seasoning or
                        Caribbean Spice Blend
 

Preparation:

Cook rice and black beans according to package directions, adding vegetable soup base to cooking water. Drain and rinse with cold water; drain again. In large serving bowl, combine rice and remaining ingredients; toss lightly. Refrigerate until serving time. Makes 6 servings
