Cookie Apple Cobbler

Ingredients:


6 cups apples -- peeled, cored, slice

1 cup brown sugar -- firmly packed

2 tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon allspice

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 package refrigerated sugar cookie dough

2 tablespoons sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat oven to 350 degrees. Peel, core and slice apples using Apple Peeler/Corer/Slicer. Combine apples, brown sugar, flour, 1 tsp cinnamon, allspice and lemon juice in Batter Bowl; toss to coat apples well. Spoon into ungreased Deep Dish Baker. Spoon cookie dough, by scant teaspoons, evenly over apples. Combine sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon in Flour/Sugar Shaker; sprinkle evenly over cookie dough. Bake 35-45 minutes or until top is golden brown and apples are tender.
