Chocolate Chess Pie

Ingredients:


1 1/2 cups sugar

3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

2 large eggs beaten

5 ounces evaporated milk

1/4 cup butter or margarine melted

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 dash salt

1 crust pie crust; unbaked 9 inch
 

Preparation / Directions:


Preheat oven to 325F. In a medium mixing bowl, stir together sugar and cocoa. Add eggs, evaporated milk, melted butter, vanilla and salt. Carefully pour the mixture into a pastry lined tart pan or pie plate. Bake about 50 minutes or until puffed over the entire surface. Cool and serve with whipped cream.
