Sour Cream Apple Pie

Ingredients:


3/4 cup sugar -- plus 2 tablespoons

3 tablespoons flour

1 cup sour cream -- (or plain yogurt)

3 cups chopped apples -- (about 3 medium)

1 crust unbaked pie shell 9 inch

1 teaspoon cinnamon
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour and sour cream, mix well. Add chopped apples. (You can freeze in gallon baggie at this point for later use). Pour into pie crust Mix the remaining 2 Tablespoons sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over the apple mixture. Bake at 400* for 15 min then reduce heat to 350* and bake 25-30 min or until apples are tender. Cool. Makes six servings.
