Creamy Chocolate Pie

Ingredients:


1/2 Cup water

1 Tablespoon cornstarch

14 ounce can eagle brand creamy chocolate condensed milk

3 large egg yolks

2 Tablespoons butter or margarine

1 Teaspoon vanilla

1/2 Cup whipped cream (sweetened) or frozen topping

1 crust prepared graham cracker pie crust (8 inch)
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Stir together water and cornstarch. In saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk and egg yolks. Stir in cornstarch mixture. 2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly, about 12 to 15 minutes. (May be done in large container in microwave at 100% power, uncovered, 3-6 minutes. Stir twice during cooking time.) 3. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla. 4. Spoon into prepared pie crust. Chill 3 hours or until set. 5. Top with sweetened whipped cream, whipped topping. Refrigerate any leftovers.
