Preparation / Directions:
1. Combine apples and rum; let stand 30 minutes.
2. Line 9-inch pie plate with one crust of pastry.
3. Combine sugar and flour; cut in butter.
4. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, nuts and raisins.
5. Drain apples, reserving rum for sauce; toss apples with flour mixture, coating each slice well.
6. Spoon apple mixture into prepared crust; adjust top crust, cutting slits for steam to escape. Seal edges.
7. Cook on HIGH for 10 minutes; place in preheated 400 F. oven and cook 10 to 15 minutes longer to brown crust.
8. Serve Rum Sauce over or alongside pie.
Rum Sauce: 1. Combine reserved rum with apple juice, cornstarch, sugar and cinnamon in 2-cup glass measure; cook on HIGH 2 minutes, or until thickened.
2. Cool slightly and stir in cream.
