Apple Crispett

Ingredients:


1 quart apples

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup water

1 cup flour

3/4 cup white sugar

5 tablespoons butter or margarine
 

Preparation / Directions:


Peel and slice apples. Put in shallow baking dish. Pour the water over them. Mix the other ingredients as for pie crust and pour over the apples and water. Do not stir together. Bake in 350ΓΈ oven 45 minutes. When cool, cut into squares and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
