Bacon Spaghetti

One skillet, easy and delicious!


1/4 cup olive oil
8 slices raw bacon (I prefer Boarshead brand)- cut in small pieces
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 can sliced mushrooms (drained)
1 can diced tomatoes undrained (any flavor)
1 cup boiling water
4 ounces spaghetti (uncooked/ broken in pieces about 3 inches long)
2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 Cup shredded parmesan cheese

Preparation / Directions:

Place olive oil in large skillet with tight fitting lid: Cook bacon, onion and green pepper until bacon is brown and crisp and vegies are tender. Add mushrooms and heat through. Add tomatoes and boiling water. Stir well and heat mixture to a boil. Add worcestershire sauce. Cover and reduce heat to simmer. Simmer about 26 minutes stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve!
