Golden Panfried Mushrooms

Ingredients:


1 pound small mushrooms

1 large Egg -- beaten

1/2 cup Dry bread crumbs

1/3 cup Margarine or butter

1 medium Onion -- chopped (1/2 cup)
 

Preparation / Directions:


Prepare whole mushrooms as directed. Dip mushrooms into egg, then coat with bread crumbs. Heat margarine in 12-inch skillet over medium heat until hot. Cook mushrooms and onions in margarine 7 to 8 minutes, turning occasionally, until mushrooms are tender and golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
