Ingredients:


1/2 cup vegetable oil

2 tablespoons minced garlic
 

Preparation / Directions:


Prepare this oil in advance and store in a covered jar in the refrigerator. Heat vegetable oil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. When oil is hot, add minced garlic and sauté until lightly brown. Remove from heat and set aside. Makes about 1/2 cup. From an article by Joyce Jue in the San Francisco Chronicle, 5/29/91.
