Super Tenderizing Marinade

Ingredients:


1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon dry sherry or dry white wine

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 cup cold water

1/2 teaspoon salt -- (optional)
 

Preparation / Directions:


Mix cornstarch, sherry, soy sauce, salt, sugar, baking soda and water. Add thinly sliced beef, chicken or pork. Cover and let sit in refrigerator from 1 hour to overnight. Makes about 1/2 cup
