one pot meal, meat,protein and starch and full of flavor
 

Ingredients:


1 cup rice

1 cup lentils

2 medium smoked turkey necks

1 teaspoon cummin

3 teaspoon garlic powder

3 cloves fresh garlic

1 teaspoon pepper to taste

1 teaspoon thyme

1 teaspoon liquid smoke

4 Cup water
 

Preparation / Directions:


boil smoked turkey necks until done with all of the seasoning in about 4 cups of water. add 1c of rice and 1c of lentils after you clean the lentils add to the pot of smoked turkey necks, cook until rice is done. the meat from the turkey necks should fall off of the bones and they can be remove from pot.

all of the ingredients are low in fat
