one pot meal, meat,protein and starch and full of flavor
 

Ingredients:

rice,lentils,smoked turkey necks,1tsp of cummin,3tsp of garlic powder,3cloves of fresh garlic,pepper to taste, 1tsp of thyme,1tsp of liquid smoke,4c of water.
 

Preparation:

boil smoked turkey necks until done with all of the seasoning in about 4 cups of water. add 1c of rice and 1c of lentils after you clean the lentils add to the pot of smoked turkey necks, cook until rice is done. the meat from the turkey necks should fall off of the bones and they can be remove from pot.
