Ham And Lentil Soup Dijon

Ingredients:


1 large onion -- finely chopped

14 1/2 ounces stewed tomatoes -- canned

1 small green pepper -- finely chopped

1 cup water

1 small carrot -- finely chopped

1 cup diced ham

1 clove garlic minced

3/4 cup dry lentils

1 piece bay leaf

1/2 cup country dijon mustard

28 ounces chicken broth

1/4 cup dry sherry
 

Preparation / Directions:


In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients except mustard and sherry. Simmer, uncovered, 1 hour. Stir in mustard and sherry. 7 servings (1 cup each)
