Ingredients:
1 medium chicken -- skinned and cut into 8 pieces marinate in salt and lemon juice |
1 cup yogurt |
1 teaspoon ginger paste |
1 teaspoon garlic paste |
1 tablespoon oil |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon cumin powder |
1 teaspoon coriander powder |
1 teaspoon garam masala |
1 teaspoon red chilli powder to taste |
5 drops red food coloring -- (optional) |

Preparation / Directions:
Marinate chicken pieces in the above ingredients.
Barbecue. This chicken can be cooked under the grill or in the oven.
Baste with a little oil to give it a shine.
But the best flavour comes from barbecuing.
