Preparation / Directions:Put the water into an ovenproof soup kettle and bring it to a boil. Add garlic, sugar, salt, and pepper. Wash and chop the parsley and add to the soup. Cook over medium heat for 7 or 8 minutes. Stir in the lime juice. Remove from the stove. Set oven at 200 degrees F. Place the covered soup kettle in the oven and steep for 1 hour. Serve hot or cold.
