Preparation / Directions:Combine water and salt; bring to a boil. Sprinkle in cream of rice and cook, stirring constantly, for 30 seconds. Remove from heat, cover and let stand 3 minutes. Stir in raisins and spices. Pour into a lightly oiled 7 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 inch loaf pan; chill overnight. Unmold and cut into 8 slices. Dust lightly with flour and brown in a skillet with a little vegetable oil. Serve hot with honey or powdered sugar. Makes 4 servings.
