13 ounces pear halves
1/3 cup currant jelly
1 stick cinnamon
1/3 cup burgundy

Preparation / Directions:

Drain pears and put 1 1/2 cups syrup in saucepan. Add jelly and cinnamon stick and heat, stirring, until jelly melts. Stir in wine and pour over pears. Let stand several hours or overnight. Serve as accompaniment to baked ham. makes 8-9 servings
