Cranberry Jubilee

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups water
2 cups fresh cranberries
1/4 cup brandy
1/2 gallon Vanilla ice cream
 

Preparation / Directions:

Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally, boil 5 minutes. Add cranberries, and return to a boil, cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Heat brandy in a saucepan over medium heat. (Do not boil.) Ignite and pour over cranberries. After flames die, spoon over ice cream.
