Baked Apples 2

Ingredients:

4 medium rome apples
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cloves
4 medium lemons -- zest of
1/2 stick butter unsalted
 

Preparation / Directions:

Preheat oven to 375. Butter baking dish for baking apples. Core apples. Set in baking dish. Mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves and zest. Fill each apple core with mixture. Drizzle butter on tops. Bake until tender, about 20 minutes. Approximately 12-22 minutes.
