Browned Butter Frosting

Ingredients:


3 cups Powdered sugar

1/3 cup Butter -- softened*

1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla

2 tablespoons Milk -- about
 

Preparation / Directions:


*we do not recommend margarine This recipe. Heat butter over medium heat until delicate brown; cool. Mix melted butter with powdered sugar. Stir in vanilla and milk. Beat until smooth and of spreading consistency. Frosts a 13 X 9 inch cake or fills and frosts two 8- or 9-inch cake layers.
